Pumpkin Apple Bread

A cozy and flavorful bread that perfectly combines sweet pumpkin and tart apples, making it ideal for fall.

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine sugar and vegetable oil, then add eggs and beat well.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree until smooth.
  5. Add the chopped apples gently with a spatula.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, blending until just mixed.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with butter, ice cream, or whipped cream for an indulgent treat.
