Baked Peaches with Streusel Topping

A delightful summer dessert featuring juicy baked peaches topped with a crunchy, buttery streusel.

  • 56 ripe peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash your peaches thoroughly and slice them in half. Remove the pits and place them cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, white sugar, flour, oats, and spices.
  4. Mix well until it’s evenly combined.
  5. Melt your stick of butter and pour it over the dry mixture. Use a fork or your fingers to combine until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the streusel mixture generously over the peach halves.
  7. Place the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are tender and the streusel is golden brown.
  8. Once done, let them cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce for added flavor.
