Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: First things first, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep Your Baking Sheets: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, combine your softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Cream together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the Egg and Vanilla: Crack in your egg and add the vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  5. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to your wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in Strawberries and Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips until evenly dispersed.
  7. Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of dough onto your prepared baking sheets.
