Maple Pecan Bread

Delightful bread featuring the sweet richness of maple syrup and crunchy pecans, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 1 cup of Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup of Chopped Pecans
  • 2 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup of Butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 large Eggs
  • A pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan and grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: Combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  4. Cream together the softened 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of maple syrup until light and fluffy.
  5. Incorporate 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  6. Mix in the flour mixture just until combined.
  7. Fold in 1 cup of chopped pecans gently.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Consider topping the bread with a pat of butter or a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
