Mouthwatering Black Raspberry Crisp

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the black raspberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Toss until well-coated and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until mixed, then pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish, pour the berry mixture into the pan, and evenly sprinkle the oat topping over it.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes
