Boozy Cherry Bombs

Indulgent Boozy Cherry Bombs that blend sweet maraschino cherries with creamy white chocolate and tropical Malibu rum.

  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries (with Stems)
  • 1 Package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 Cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright Blue Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin by draining the maraschino cherries from their syrup. Pat them gently with a paper towel to remove excess liquid.
  2. Place the drained cherries in a bowl, pour in the Malibu rum, and give them a gentle toss. Cover and let them soak for at least an hour in the fridge.
  3. Melt the Ghirardelli white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Hold a cherry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating it thoroughly.
  5. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle the bright blue sanding sugar over your dipped cherries.
  6. Place the dipped cherries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Pop them in the fridge for about 30-45 minutes to let the chocolate fully set.
  7. Once set, your Boozy Cherry Bombs are ready to serve! Arrange them on a fun serving platter.

Notes
