Caramel Cheesecake Brownie Trifle

A delightful dessert featuring layers of fudgy brownies, creamy cheesecake, and rich caramel, perfect for gatherings or treating yourself.

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Caramel sauce
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the brownie ingredients: Combine brownie mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan and bake according to package instructions (20-25 minutes).
  4. Let cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Whip the cream cheese until creamy and smooth.
  6. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing until fully incorporated.
  7. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  8. Whip the heavy whipping cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture carefully.
  10. Layer crumbled brownies at the bottom of a trifle bowl.
  11. Spoon cheesecake over the brownies followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  12. Repeat the layering process until the top is reached, finishing with cheesecake.
  13. Top with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
  14. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
  15. Serve in bowls or directly from the trifle dish with extra caramel drizzle.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time and tastes even better the next day. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
