  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 23 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • ¾ cup lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, and salt. Make sure to mix them well.
  2. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the lukewarm water to the dry mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  6. Shape the Loaf: Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf.
  7. Second Rise: Place the shaped loaf into a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
