Cinnamon Honey Baked Peaches

A simple yet delicious dessert featuring juicy peaches baked with honey and cinnamon for a nostalgic treat.

  • 4 medium ripe peaches (freestone preferred)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp honey (mild-flavored)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or a pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash your peaches under cool water. Cut each peach in half around the pit and twist to separate.
  3. Create the butter mixture by combining melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract (if using).
  4. Arrange the peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish and pour the buttery honey mixture over them.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and bubbly.
  6. Finishing touches: Turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes for extra caramelization (watch closely!).

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Try serving over pancakes or French toast for brunch.
