Fresas con Crema

A sweet and creamy strawberry dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sugar to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash thoroughly, pat dry, hull, and slice them. Leave some whole for garnish if desired.
  2. Make the cream mixture: Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, folding gently to combine.
  4. Taste the mixture and add sugar if necessary.
  5. Mix together sliced strawberries and cream in a serving bowl or individual cups, layering if preferred.
  6. Chill the dessert in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Great for summer gatherings! Can be made ahead of time and stored for up to 24 hours.
