Apple Cheddar Quesadilla

  • 2 Apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 4 Flour Tortillas
  • Optional: Cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Optional: Drizzle of honey
  • Optional: Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the apples: Wash and core the apples. Thinly slice them into half-moon shapes, about a quarter-inch thick.
  2. Shred the cheese: Slice or grate the cheddar cheese.
  3. Heat the pan: Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and warm for a minute. Optionally, add butter or oil.
  4. Assemble the quesadilla: Lay one tortilla flat, layer with cheese and apple slices, and sprinkle cinnamon if desired.
  5. Melt and flip: Cook the quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  6. Slice and serve: Let it cool, then slice into wedges.

Notes

Perfect for serving with honey or Greek yogurt for dipping. You can also customize with different cheeses or add veggies.
