Avocado Hash Browns

Crispy, golden hash browns paired with creamy, luscious avocado, perfect for brunch or anytime you want a comforting dish.

  • 1 ripe avocado

Instructions

  1. Prep your potatoes by peeling and grating them.
  2. Remove excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Season the grated potatoes with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the hash browns undisturbed for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the hash browns carefully and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Slice the avocado, scoop it out, and mash with a pinch of salt and lime juice.
  8. Serve the crispy hash browns topped with mashed avocado and optional toppings.

Notes

For a spicier version, you can add diced jalapeños or smoked paprika. This dish is versatile, so feel free to experiment with seasonings and toppings.
