Pumpkin Streusel Bread

A delightful pumpkin bread topped with a crunchy streusel, perfect for cozy autumn days.

  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Streusel Topping (1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter and optionally line with parchment paper.
  3. Mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, and vegetable oil in another bowl until smooth.
  5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently to combine, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Make the streusel topping by mixing flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly.
  7. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle the streusel topping over the batter.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or cream cheese frosting. This bread can be stored at room temperature for up to five days.
