Peach Cake with Brown Sugar Frosting

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup peaches, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan and grease it with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, and water in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chopped peaches gently into the batter.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Make the frosting by creaming together butter and brown sugar, then add powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  8. Frost the cooled cake generously.
