  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×9 inch square baking dish, lightly greased.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  5. Merge the wet ingredients into the dry mix, folding gently.
  6. Add the chopped pecans and fold them in.
  7. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth it out.
  8. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
