Pumpkin Cheesecake Bread

A delightful fall treat that combines rich pumpkin flavor with a creamy cheesecake layer, perfect for cozy autumn days.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  4. Mix the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently.
  6. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth in a separate bowl.
  7. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan. Top with dollops of cream cheese filling, then pour remaining batter on top.
  8. Bake for about 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. You can also add chocolate chips or nuts for variations.
