Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread

A delightful autumn treat with warm, spiced pumpkin and cinnamon swirls, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar for swirling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Fold the dry mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar.
  8. Drop remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Swirl the batter gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  10. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
