Ghost Pancakes

Delightfully spooky pancakes that add a festive twist to your breakfast with fluffy whipped cream and chocolate chip eyes.

Ingredients

  • Pancake Batter (store-bought or homemade)
  • Whipped Cream
  • Chocolate Chips (semi-sweet or mini)
  • Food Coloring (optional)
  • Cooking Spray or Butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine your pancake mix or homemade batter ingredients following the package instructions. Don’t over-mix; we want those pancakes to be light and airy!
  2. Heat Your Pan: Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a little butter or cooking spray.
  3. Cook the Pancakes: Pour batter into the skillet using about 1/4 cup for each pancake. When bubbles form (about 2-3 minutes), flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Create the Ghostly Faces: Stack pancakes and use whipped cream to create ghost shapes on top, adding chocolate chips for eyes.
  5. Add Final Touches: Dust powdered sugar over the pancakes and arrange spooky decorations for serving.

Notes

For a fun twist, try adding pumpkin spice or using colorful gel food coloring in your batter.
