Halloween Graveyard Chocolate Poke Cake

A frightfully delicious chocolate poke cake adorned with whipped cream, gummy worms, and cookie crumbs to celebrate Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs (or 3/4 cup applesauce for vegan)
  • 1/2 cup Oil (vegetable, canola, or melted coconut)
  • 1 cup Water (or brewed coffee)
  • 1 jar Chocolate Fudge Sauce
  • 2 cups Whipped Cream (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup Chocolate Cookies (crushed)
  • 1 cup Gummy Worms (or Halloween-themed candy)
  • Sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, and water (or coffee) until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cake for 10-15 minutes before poking holes in it.
  6. Add the warm chocolate fudge sauce evenly over the poked cake.
  7. Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread whipped cream over the cake once cooled.
  9. Crush the chocolate cookies and sprinkle over the whipped cream.
  10. Decorate with gummy worms and sprinkles.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
