Sweet Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

A vibrant and refreshing fruit salsa paired with crispy cinnamon sugar tortilla chips, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 kiwis, diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the tortilla chips by brushing one side of the tortillas with melted butter and sprinkling the sugar and cinnamon mixture over the buttered side. Place them on a baking sheet, cinnamon side up.
  3. Bake the tortillas in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Combine the diced apples, kiwis, strawberries, and raspberries in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add lime juice and honey (if using) to the bowl and gently toss to coat the fruits.
  6. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity as needed with more lime juice.
  7. Cool the chips on a wire rack.
  8. Serve the salsa in a large bowl with the tortilla chips arranged around it. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to mix and match fruits based on your preference. This dish is also great for gatherings and can be made ahead of time.
