Simple Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

Delicious bite-sized treats filled with tender apples, caramel, and cinnamon, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and half of the caramel sauce.
  3. Unroll your crescent roll dough on a floured surface and divide it into triangles.
  4. Add a spoonful of the apple mixture onto the widest part of each triangle, topped with a drizzle of caramel.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling, tucking in the sides and rolling towards the pointy end.
  6. Place the bombs seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce on top and serve with whipped cream.

Notes

For an added crunch, mix in chopped nuts or create a creamy swirl with cream cheese. These bombs can be frozen before or after baking for later enjoyment.
