  • 2 tbsp culinary lavender
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. Prepare the Earl Grey tea by steeping the tea bags and mixing with lavender.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently.
  7. Fold in the lavender and tea mixture until combined.
  8. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute butter with coconut oil and egg with a flax egg. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
