Lavender Latte

A delightful lavender latte that brings floral notes and comforting warmth to your cup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Culinary Lavender
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 shot Espresso (or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee)
  • 12 tablespoons Lavender Syrup
  • A pinch of Vanilla Extract
  • Honey or Maple Syrup to taste

Instructions

  1. Make the Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves. Toss in 1 tablespoon of culinary lavender and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and strain.
  2. Brew your Espresso (or Strong Coffee): While the syrup cools, brew a shot of espresso or strong coffee.
  3. Heat the Milk: In a saucepan, warm up 1 cup of milk until just steaming.
  4. Combine: In your mug, add 1–2 tablespoons of lavender syrup, pour in your espresso or coffee, and stir gently. Top with the warmed milk.
  5. Finish with Flavor: Add a pinch of vanilla extract and stir. Inhale the aroma.
  6. Sweeten to Taste: Drizzle in honey or maple syrup to your liking, and adjust as needed.

Notes

For a stunning presentation, pour into a beautiful cup and top with dried lavender or a dusting of cinnamon.
