Cinnamon Sugar Blondies

Irresistible blondies infused with warm cinnamon sugar for a delightful treat.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt your butter using a microwave or stove. Allow to cool slightly before mixing in the sugar.
  3. Combine melted butter with brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing gently.
  6. Pour the blondie batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth it out.
  7. Mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cut into squares.

Notes

These blondies can be customized with nuts, dried fruits, or coconut. They freeze well for up to 3 months.
