Orange Glazed Salmon

A delightful dish featuring tender salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and tangy orange sauce, balanced with soy sauce and garlic.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the marinade by combining orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the salmon fillets in the marinade for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Prep the salmon by allowing it to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  5. Sear the salmon skin-side down in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Bake the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes after spooning some glaze on top.
  7. Glaze again halfway through baking.
  8. Garnish the salmon with fresh orange slices before serving.

Notes

Serve with jasmine rice or a quinoa salad for a complete meal. Add vegetables for a colorful presentation.
