Easy Homemade Strawberry Cobbler

A sweet and comforting homemade strawberry cobbler that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix your sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes to macerate.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining 1/2 cup of sugar in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour in the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients along with the vanilla extract. Stir until just combined.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the batter into the dish first, then spoon the strawberries and their juices evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for about 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra special touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
