Instructions

  1. Prep the watermelon: Start by cubing the watermelon into bite-sized chunks. Freeze until solid if using fresh watermelon.
  2. Blend the watermelon: In a blender, add frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and sugar. Optionally, include fresh mint leaves or basil.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Scrape the sides as needed. If too thick, add a splash of cold water.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more sugar or lime juice as needed.
  5. Serve the watermelon drink in chilled glasses. Garnish with lime wedges or mint leaves, and add sprinkles for extra fun!
