Black Raspberry Vanilla Fool

A delightful dessert combining fresh black raspberries with creamy Greek yogurt and whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups black raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 container of vanilla Greek-style yogurt
  • 1 pint heavy or whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Black Raspberries by washing them under cool water and patting them dry.
  2. Sweeten the Berries by tossing them with sugar and letting them sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Mash the Berries with a fork until chunky or smooth, based on preference.
  4. Mix the vanilla Greek yogurt with the vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the whipped cream into the yogurt mixture gently.
  7. Layer the mixtures in serving dishes starting with raspberries followed by the yogurt mix, repeating layers.
  8. Top with remaining raspberries and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.

Notes

Garnish with extra black raspberries, powdered sugar, mint leaves, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce before serving.
