  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Optional Mix-ins (chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Mash the Bananas: Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Mix the Wet Ingredients: Add the cooled brown butter, sugar, and egg; whisk until frothy.
  5. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Mix It All Together: Gradually stir dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  7. Add those Mix-Ins: Gently fold in any optional mix-ins of your choice.
  8. Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  9. Cool and Enjoy: Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
