  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Prepare your zucchini by grating it and squeezing out the excess moisture.
  3. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Cream the granulated and brown sugars with vegetable oil, then add the eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until no dry flour is visible. Fold in the grated zucchini.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cake for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
