  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly, aiming for about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Brown the beef and onions in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked.
  4. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Layer in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, starting with potatoes, beef mixture, and creamy soup.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake covered with foil for about 40 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes.
  8. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
