Peach Strawberry Cobbler Bake

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the fruit filling by combining the sliced peaches and strawberries in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle in the granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and toss until well-coated.
  4. Let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
  6. Mix the milk and melted butter in a separate cup, then pour it into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  7. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the fruit mixture into the dish.
  8. Dollop the topping over the fruit.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
