Slow Cooker Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs

A flavorful combination of sweet pineapple and zesty barbecue sauce, perfect for parties or cozy dinners.

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup pineapple barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Add the meatballs gently to the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the pineapple barbecue sauce evenly over the meatballs.
  5. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve and enjoy with sauce on the side.

Notes

For an easy appetizer, serve with toothpicks. You can also create meatball subs or pile them over rice.
