Roasted Peaches

A simple yet elegant way to enjoy juicy peaches roasted to perfection with caramelized edges.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 fresh peaches
  • 8 tablespoons butter (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the peaches under cool water and gently pat them dry. Slice each peach in half, removing the pit.
  3. Combine the packed light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Place the peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture generously on top of each peach half.
  6. Dot each peach half with a piece of sliced butter.
  7. Slide the baking dish into the preheated oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce.

Notes

For a charred top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes after roasting.
