Pumpkin Pie Crescent Rolls

Delightful treat combining pumpkin pie flavors with flaky crescent rolls, perfect for autumn brunches or cozy gatherings.

  • 8 ounce container Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 whole egg (divided)
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them on a clean surface.
  4. Mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl.
  5. Take one of the eggs, separate it, and mix the yolk into the pumpkin mixture.
  6. Spoon about a tablespoon of the pumpkin filling onto the wider end of each triangle of dough.
  7. Roll each crescent starting from the wider end towards the tip.
  8. Brush the tops of each roll lightly with the reserved egg white.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Prepare the drizzle by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and maple syrup until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the icing over the slightly cooled rolls.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
