  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 cup Snickers Bars, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Activate your yeast: In a small bowl, combine your active dry yeast with 1/4 cup of warm milk and a teaspoon of granulated sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it’s frothy.
  2. Create your dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center, and pour in the melted butter, the frothy yeast mixture, the egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until it comes together.
  3. Knead that dough: Flour your countertop and transfer the dough. Knead it for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Rise and shine: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour.
  5. Roll it out: Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Fill it up: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped Snickers bars. Spread a layer of soft butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle this mixture across the surface.
  7. Roll and slice: Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Second rise: Cover the pan with a towel again and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake to perfection: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Glaze it up: Let the rolls cool slightly, then drizzle with warm caramel sauce.
