Spider Deviled Eggs

Delightful Spider Deviled Eggs perfect for Halloween gatherings, combining classic flavors with a spooky twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • Black Olives, for decoration

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Start by placing your eggs in a pot and covering them with water (about an inch above the eggs). Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then once boiling, cover the pot, reduce the heat to low, and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Cool the Eggs: Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  3. Peel the Eggs: Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel them under running water.
  4. Prepare the Filling: Cut each egg in half, scoop out the yolks, and mash them with mayo and mustard until smooth.
  5. Fill the Egg Whites: Pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Create the Spiders: Use halved black olives for bodies and thinly cut pieces for legs, placing them on top of the filled eggs.
  7. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
