Homemade Workout Bars

Delicious energy boost bars packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for pre-workout fuel or post-exercise rewards.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the rolled oats and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Incorporate the peanut butter and mix well until crumbly.
  4. Add the honey or maple syrup and stir to combine.
  5. Toss in the chocolate chips and stir until they’re well distributed.
  6. Fold in any optional chopped nuts.
  7. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

These bars can be customized with nuts, seeds, or different flavoring options. Great for quick snacks!
